The future of Africa lies in a balanced and inclusive education system that prepares the youth for the job market and the world of enterprise. Education is a means to an end, being employability or entrepreneurship. According to research, rapid changes in the world – including technological advancement, shifting workforce demands and globalization are redefining the skill sets that young people need to be competitive in tomorrow’s society.

SOSF is convinced that through learning and development, people are equipped with the right mindset, competence and tools to be productive.

Model: Our Model is Built on Our 3 pillars:

To design, monitor and evaluate interventions: We collect data and assess eneficiaries to determine needs to contextualize interventions. We analyze data from interventions for advocacy, awareness and continuous learning & development. –
To inform and enable: We research trends across a variety of sectors and share thought leadership articles and webinars to inform and spark discussion amongst beneficiaries, interested parties and stakeholders.
We share content on opportunities, tools etc. to our key stakeholders e.g. mentors, trainers etc. through regular newsletters. We issue monthly research reports on various themes to support activities of third-party users. We publish our baseline data on our interventions across states in Nigeria and globally to inform the work of third parties. We issue impact reports on our interventions to provide insight into our work and inform the work of partners with a similar or interlinked/related mandate.
We design and deliver data-driven, holistic interventions to meet the needs in line with our mandate. Our interventions include programs, initiatives and challenges delivered directly or indirectly through individuals, public, private and non-profit partners.
Our interventions are: Direct through our designed programs and; Indirect through supporting our partners implement and scale their interventions (initiatives)
in line with our common objectives through funding, content i.e. resources, training and data and people.

We utilize data and intervention outcomes to raise awareness, mobilize partnerships, inform policies and drive the culture and enabling environment for sustainable development impact.
